Is Europe ready to pave the way for the global energy transition?
Guidehouse, a global consulting company, is at the forefront of today’s challenges and asks you to participate in shaping Europe’s future energy landscape.
The European energy system is experiencing tremendous challenges and short-term action is required from industry to governments to meet the EU’s climate targets and ensure security of supply. Guidehouse will discuss the role of industry, governments, and institutions to meet the goals set out in REPowerEU in response of the current climate and Ukraine crisis. Considering this, we will try to answer key questions for todays and future challenges. What is the role for electricity, methane, and hydrogen in the current and future energy system? How can we build out all necessary infrastructure in the most cost-effective way? How can we reach net-zero industry targets? What are the challenges that arise when meeting Europe’s energy demand at every place and time?
During this interactive workshop, students are asked to partake in an exercise where students will be assigned to different stakeholders’ roles discussing and presenting solutions for the key challenges of today and tomorrow.
