Tom Middendorp: Former Chief of Defence of the Armed forces of the Netherlands - Climate General
Tom Middendorp held leadership positions at all levels within the Defence organization for 38 years. He is the special representative of the Netherlands on European Defence Cooperation and leads a global network on climate and security, the International Military Council on Climate and Security. He was the first active-serving military officer to publicly link climate change with security.
